The Quinta do Lago South
The Quinta do Lago South course originally offered four nine hole loops with sufficient flexibility to allow four eighteen hole combinations (all Par 72). Two different courses the North and South. But Quinta do Lago South - built over loops B and C - is still the most famous.
Quinta do Lago Courses
Quinta do Lago Courses, designed by William Mitchell and inaugurated in 1974, became world-famous after hosting the Portuguese Open on seven occasions.
Quinta do Lago Courses course allows the player to approach greens in very different ways.The famous hole is number 15, a memorable Par 3 requiring a 200 metres shot right over a lake from the championship tee. QUINTA DO LAGO HOTELS

Vilamoura Golf Courses
Laguna and Victoria courses. Millennium golf Course, the course is particularly open, although some holes (the 3rd to the 7th) wind between pine trees and are similar to the neighbouring fairways of the The Old Course, Pinhal Course.
In this more wooded area, the fairways are narrower and require greater accuracy - while the rest of the course has a clear landscape enriched by lakes at the 4th, 17th and 18th holes.

Old Course, the first holes are easy and inviting with reachable par 4. The par 3 on the attractive fourth is a hole in one potential. Club selection from here will play an important part of your game and straight shots will be needed.
